Together with other business associations and top experts from Switzerland and Germany we discussed the future of Europe. What are the expectations for the future? How can business associations better serve the interests of companies? What does BREXIT mean for the Swiss economy in the EU-UK triangle and what could be the role of business associations? These and other topics dealed with our economy talks in Switzerland.
Our senate’s dinner on the eve of the conference was under the motto: "Small sins taxed the state immediately - the (lack of) reason in excise duties." How should excise duties be designed today? On this topic Prof Dr Berthold U. WIGGER, Chair of Public Finance and Public Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry of Finance, refered.
